More energy from the electric side of MotoGP (MotoE).

Every few months, we see the clues of mass in the electric motorcycle sector.   Harley coming out with the Livewire and other models is one huge one.   The impact that electric motors has on racing is not to be dismissed. MotoGP is adding electric events to the 2019 season (MotoE).  Each year at Pikes Peak Hill climb, Electric Motorcycles make a statement.

If you are a fan of speed, one company to keep an eye on is Energica Motor Company.

This year, at INTERMOT in Germany, Energica showed off their Energica Ego Sport Black bike which will be found at the MotoE World Cup

As technology continues to improve, we’ll see more and more investment into electric motorcycles (as with other e-vehicles).

Convenience

As we see more and more investment in electric motorcycles, we’ll see more options.  We’ll see everything from sport bikes to cruisers.    When you hit the local grocery store, you already most likely see charging stations have popped up.  They are now more and more common.  Even in places you would not even find a gas station.  Electric motorcycles, with their electric advantage of insane torque and power , will possibly begin to dominate the streets in the next decade.

2019 will be a big year for motorcycles.   The MotoE World Cup showcasing the raw performance of these bikes as well as Harley Davidson changing their entire public image.

Change is coming.
