Motorcycles and the potholes that love them

Its around this time of year that we tend to notice our daily commute becoming more and more entertaining. The mounds of snow, the sub-zero temps, and aging roads equals one thing. POTHOLES.

(in search of that long lonely road)

We have been blessed over the last few years with milder winters and less snow. Along comes the 2018-2019 winter. Like a cold punch to the face. Most of us are seeing a great deal of snow, ice, and cold temps. This cold blast will have us eager to get back out on the road.

Before you commit to that all day solo ride, consider how likely you might be encounter potholes.

In another post, we discussed the impact of changing road conditions on your ride. This year, the #1 obstacle might just be the pothole.

Before you head out this year, make sure you have your spider-sense on high and are sweeping the road ahead of you. Its not if you will encounter potholes, but when and were it will hit you. It could be on that long solo ride or it could be in that center lane during rush hour with an F-250 on one side and a dump truck on the other..

Be prepared to ride this year. Check road conditions where you live
