Did your motorcycle stop flashing? Here’s what you need to know .

Did your girl stop flashing?

Pick up a motorcycle magazine and one theme you’ll see is CUSTOM.   The need to customize your bike is a big one and on most of our lists.   One of the easiest and noticeable ways to begin the custom process is to  swap out those huge telescopic blinkers for new LED slim profile ones.    The issue you may have if you just swap out the lights is your girl will cease to be a flasher.    No one wants to lose that .   Keep your girl flashing.

You’ve picked out your new LED lights and have them wired.   Your next stop will be to swap out your turn signal relay with one designed for LED lights.   LED lights use much less power and that causes what is called  hyper flashing or they will just stay illuminated.   If you notice that your lights are not playing nicely, you’ll have to seek out an LED relay.  The good news is that this is very quick and very low cost.

Its important to understand that the turn signal is an important part of your safety on the road.   The better those little flashers work, the safer you will be out on the road when the Suburban Soccer Mom decides to take over your lane.

You can bring your girl back to flasher status, just look for that relay and swap it out.

The summer is quickly winding down and the weather will be hitting a peak for riding comfortably.  At least in the Midwest.

Keep riding , stay safe , and use those turn signals!

She was born to be a flasher.
