Only Those With No Fear Of Death Need Apply

2019 may be the year of Mt Everest. The mountain has claimed another … and another .. and another. The mountain is out of control.. if YOU have a fear of death.

We are fascinated by death and tragedy. The proof is in the media blitz. There isnt a news media outlet that has not highlighted the EPIDEMIC of deaths at Everest. From nightly news specials to news magazine stories. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!

No Fear Of Death

This is a mountain peak above 29,000 ft. PEOPLE CAN NOT LIVE AT THIS ALTITUDE FOR LONG. Yet, for years (nearly 100) , people have been attempting to summit this peak. All that is required is the will , the money to make the trip, and a lack of fear of death. You cant place yourself in this situation and think the risk is low.

This must be the most dangerous sport that man participates in ??

There is another event that takes place in June every year. However this one is not at altitude and requires no Sherpa to guide you to the death zone. You can take yourself . The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT). This event, dating back even before the first Mt Everest climb, has claimed over 250 lives. In 2007, even the spectators were affected. Two lost their lives.

The deaths from the Isle of Man are approaching that of Mt Everest in total fatalities. People are CHOOSING to test themselves with these two activities. They also must have no fear of death. Motorcycling by nature is dangerous. Just a ride to the local coffee shop places you at risk. Having a goal of going as FAST as possible around a course invites the highest of risk. Average speeds are well over 130 miles an hour. The lap record sits at 135.452 MPH. No Fear!

Life is short. Living life means challenging and pushing the limits. While Mt Everest may be getting most of the news media attention this year, The Isle of Man TT has a longer track record for claiming lives. Those that fear death need not apply.

Live life. Appreciate those willing to push the limits. They know the risks.

Keep riding…Dont Die!
